KLAS Catalog
The KLAS Catalog allows you to search the holdings of the Illinois State Library Talking Book and Braille Service (TBBS) online catalog. This collection of more than 65,000 titles is available to Illinois residents who are participants in the Library of Congress, National Library Service for the Blind and Physically Handicapped program. Titles in audio and braille format are available.
Statewide Illinois Library Catalog (SILC)
The Statewide Illinois Library Catalog (SILC) is a customized, statewide
union catalog that combines all the state’s bibliographic records into a
single, searchable database, and allows users to scope to regional groups within Illinois, as well as by type of library. SILC resides on the familiar OCLC FirstSearch platform as an additional WorldCat database available in the OCLC WorldCat/FirstSearch base package provided to all ILLINET member libraries.
To access SILC, simply login to OCLC Firstseasrch using your ILLINET member library's authorization number and password, and select IllinoisCatalog from the list of databases visible in the Search in Database menu.
